Based in Maidstone & Colchester and covering Essex, London, Kent and the whole of the South East, RAMPLIN & BOE was created by James & Nicola Ramplin in 2023. James is a qualified cabinet maker with over 20 years experience working in the industry and Nicola has a passion for interior design.

Our History

Growing up, James was surrounded by construction with his family purchasing and renovating properties and with family members working in the trades such as electrical, building, and roofing. James trained as a plumber in the ‘90s but it was the interest in furniture that was to be his calling. Qualifying in hand crafted furniture, James then went onto to become an upholsterer. After years of working for a bespoke joinery company James started RAMPLIN & BOE in 2023, creating free standing pieces and fitted furniture.

Nicola has a passion for interior design, creating beautiful spaces to live and work in. Nicola also runs the office. Together we bring our passion to create beautiful stylish furniture and interiors. We also provide a painting and decorating service.
